Speaking at the J-Fall 2009 Conference!!

Some awesome news I’ve got the last two weeks!!!
Almost a week ago I’ve been one of the lucky ones who were chosen to act as a speaker at the J-Fall sessions. It’s the first time my organization has been chosen to have one of their employees as a speaker on this sessions. So that gives me even more credit I guess :-)

J-Fall is a one-day conference organized by the Dutch Java User Group. There’s is also a yearly conference in the springtime called J-Spring. As like the J-one conference (only a bit smaller :-) ) there are a lot company’s representing themselves including my organization, which has been there every year so far! And of course there are several sessions held that day by Sun Microsystems, Adobe (which is the main sponsor of the event), and the company’s which submitted an request and were chosen by the Dutch User Group.

For more info about the time-table, speakers and more check here (Dutch).

My session is going to be about developing mobile applications with JavaFX. After a short intro of JavaFX I’ll take them trough the process of developing my mobile application ‘Caesar’s Photobook Mobile’ which was the winning application in the student category of the JavaFX Coding Challenge this year.

After a enlightenment of the Do’s and Don’ts of mobile development in JavaFX, I’ll dive into some code where I’ll explain the key-features of my application. And what is a good session without a kick-ass-demo of my application on a real HTC, huh? :-)

I’m so excited about all this and looking forward that I still can’t believe it!! Because this is not something I even dreamed of achieving just 3 months after my graduation..

So I’m so thrilled!! And who knows maybe I’ll be speaking to you on 11th November this year..

    • Hi Maijaliisa,

Thank you for your kind response and also for your post on Sun’s Student Views and Reviews!!
I have no doubt in saying that the news itself is just the half as excited as I am about all this. :D

I’m not sure if I’m already an expert, but I do know for sure that I will try my best to make the audience just as excited as I’m about JavaFX!!

My kind regards back to you!

      Ramin
